Had a wonderful conversation today with a student who was crafting her college essay. She was trying to put into words what her art means to her soul, and the light in her eyes when I read the preface to The Picture of Dorian Gray to her, was all the payment I would ever need. I wanted to post something beautiful and handmade as an emblem of what can be found in the smallest thing created by human hands.
